THIS CRIMINAL PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned High Court Government Pleader for the respondent-State and perused the records.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, the trial has already begun and going on, material witnesses have already been examined and they turned hostile. Only the formal witnesses have to be examined and also the Investigating Officers.
3. It is the realm of the Trial Court to appreciate the evidence on record and to draw an inference. This court cannot meddle with the trial proceedings before the Trial Court.
In the above said circumstances, I am of the opinion that the petition has to be disposed of. Accordingly, the Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Trial Court to expedite the trial itself and dispose of the same preferably within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
