Pramod Chandra, SPP-II for R1; R2 – served and unrepresented) This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to quash the entire proceedings initiated pursuant to complaint filed by the 2nd respondent against the petitioners in S.C.No.5042/2014 now pending on the file of II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Kanakapura for an offence under Section 307 of I.P.C.
This Criminal petition coming on for Admission, this day, the Court made the following:
O R D E R The learned counsel for the petitioners is absent.
Perused the petition.
2. Petitioners have sought to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.5042/2014 pending on the file of the II Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Kanakapura, for the offence punishable under Section 307 of IPC.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned SPP-II appearing for respondent No.1 submits that after trial all the petitioners are acquitted of the above charge vide judgment and order dated 27.12.2018 in S.C.No.5042/2014.
In view of the above submission, nothing survives for consideration in this petition. Accordingly, petition is dismissed.
