GIRIKUMAR, AGA) THIS WRIT PETITION (HABEAS CORPUS) IS FILED UNDER ARTICLE 226 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TO ISSUE A WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS (SUO- MOTU) TO TRACE HIS SON SRI. SIDDARTH H.R., AT THE EARLIEST AND PRODUCE HIM BEFORE THIS HON'BLE COURT.
THIS WRIT PETITON (HABEAS CORPUS) COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, RAVI MALIMATH, J., PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Sri Sandesh J Chouta, learned Additional Advocate General, along with Sri S.V. Girikumar, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents, submits that a copy of the Status Report has been furnished to the petitioner on 03.07.2019. Hence, office objection is accordingly answered.
2. Status report is filed in the Court today by the Police Inspector, C.C.B., Bengaluru City. He has narrated the various efforts made by him and his team in order to search out the missing person. Annexure-R.73 is the report filed by the Police. Therefore, it is prayed that the proceedings be closed.
3. On hearing learned Additional Advocate General, we do not find any ground to doubt the bona fides of the respondent-Police that every effort has been made ever since the year 2017. The various efforts made out has been culled out in the report as well as in the previous affidavit filed by the Police. Since ‘C’ report to the said effect is also filed, we find no ground to proceed further. Hence, the proceedings are dropped.
Registry is directed to communicate a copy of the Status Report, along with Annexure-R.73 to the petitioner, party-in-person.
