D.Nagaraja, AGA for respondents) This writ petition (HC) is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus or any other writ or order or direction in the similar nature directing the respondent authorities, more particularly, the 2nd respondent authority to trace and produce the detenue K. Maridevappa before this Hon’ble Court and handover his custody to the petitioner herein and etc.
This writ petition (HC) coming on for orders this day, RAVI MALIMATH, J., made the following:-
ORDER The counsel for the petitioner submits that the detenue has spoken to the petitioner and informed her that he would be returning home today. Since the petitioner is now aware of the whereabouts of the detenue, a memo is filed by him seeking to withdraw the petition as not pressed.
2. In view of the submission made, petition is dismissed as not pressed.
