Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Bala Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the respondent/contemnor. 2 The learned counsel appearing for the respondent / contemnor produced a letter in No.Rc.No.37/2002 to 2011/LWO dated M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J., AP/rka 14.07.2016, sent by the said official to the Additional Government Pleader (Co.op), wherein it has been stated among other things that the services of the petitioner is being engaged for the off-season work from 11.07.2016 onwards as required by the Engineering Department and would further state that they have also maintained status quo as per orders passed by this Court. 3 The said letter is taken on file and recorded. 4 In the light of the same, this contempt petition is closed. 5 The respondent shall file counter affidavit in the writ petition, as expeditiously as possible. The Registry shall accord priority for earlier disposal of the Writ Petition.
