JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.J.Kumaran, learned Government Advocate(P), takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and by consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 28.08.2017 and further to direct the 2nd respondent to cancel the Patta numbers 36 and 38 to the properties situated in Resurvey Number 4/9 an 2/4 in Sorapattu Village Account, Villianur Taluk, Pondicherry District and State, stood in the names 4th and 5th respondent respectively and to give patta to the properties, in his name.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 2nd respondent had issued the patta in the name of the respondents 4 and 5, without giving any notice to the petitioner. Further, the learned counsel submitted that the petitioner has given a representation dated 28.08.2017 to the 2nd respondent to cancel the patta, which has not yet been considered by the 2nd respondent.
4. Mr.J.Kumaran, learned Government Advocate (P), appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law, within twelve weeks' time, after giving notice to the respondents 4 and 5.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent shall consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties, With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
