The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition by circulating a letter dated 12.09.2017 to the Registry. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the letter circulated to the Registry as well as the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
