The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to place the petitioner at an appropriate place in the seniority list of Elementary School Headmaster for Aravakuruchi Union, Karur District as on 01.01.2016 strictly in accordance with the order passed by the 1st respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.2710/A4/2015, dated 09.11.2015, regularising the service of the petitioner as Secondary Grade Teacher w.e.f 03.01.2002, by considering the representations dated 22.07.2016 and 06.08.2016 preferred by the petitioner within the period that may be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.
2.When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 22.07.2016 and 06.08.2016 respectively, seeking to place him at an appropriate place in the seniority list of Elementary School Headmaster for Aravakuruchi Union, Karur District as on 01.01.2016, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
3.In view of the limited prayer sought for, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 22.07.2016 and 06.08.2016 respectively, and pass orders in accordance with law, if there are no legal impediments, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
