JUDGMENT / ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying that this Court may be pleased to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court, on 21.11.2008, in W.P.(MD) No.5764 of 2008.
2. By the order, dated 21.11.2008, this Court had directed the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.04.2008, and to pass appropriate order, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order.
3. At this stage of the hearing of the contempt petition, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent had placed before this court, the proceedings of the respondent, dated 08.12.2009, which has been issued in compliance with the directions issued by this Court, by its order, dated 21.11.2008, made in W.P.(MD) No.5763 of 2008.
4. In such circumstances, since no further orders are necessary, the contempt petition stands closed. No costs cs To Thiru P.Perumalsamy, The Director of School Education, College Road, Chennai - 600 006.
