This Contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 23.11.2016 passed in W.P.No.29788 of 2008.
2.When this Contempt Petition came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate, who have taken notice on behalf of the respondent, had submitted on 11.07.2017 that by a Communication dated 07.07.2017 of the District Elementary Educational Officer, Usilampatti, a request was made to the respondent, to get back the posting of the Junior Assistant to accommodate the petitioner, towards complying the orders of this Court.
3.The said factor was recorded by this Court and accordingly, further time was given. Today, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has produced a proceeding dated 24.07.2017 in M.M.No.7925/D2/E2/2009 issued by the respondent i.e., the Director of School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, Chennai-6. In the operative portion of said Proceedings, it is stated as follows:-

4.On perusal of said Proceedings dated 24.07.2017, it can be found that the post of Junior Assistant which had been taken away from the School ie., Sri.M.K.V.Sala Higher Secondary School, S.Malapatty, Madurai District, has been once again entrusted to the same School. Since the said post has been given to the school concerned, it is open R.SURESH KUMAR,J, vv to the petitioner to seek accommodation to the said posting. Therefore, by issuance of the said proceedings dated 24.07.2017, the orders of this Court has been complied with and therefore, there can be no further reason to proceed against the respondent in this Contempt Petition.
Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
