Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ. This contempt application has been filed alleging violation of the order dated 26th August 2014 passed in O.P. (KAT) No. 200/2014.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court by its above judgment has directed the State Police Chief to notify the vacancies in the direct recruitment quota to the Public Service Commission.
3. The learned Government Pleader has brought to our Cont. Case (C )No. 1004 of 2014 - S 2 notice a letter dated 5th November, 2014 by the State Police Chief addressed to the Secretary, Kerala Public Service Commission, notifying 137 vacancies.
In the above view of the matter, we are not inclined to initiate any proceedings for contempt. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
