Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
The petitioner claims to be a member of a registered society. He has petitioned this Court seeking principally the following relief:-
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to adjust and absorb the disengaged Community Health Volunteers in other Health and Welfare Schemes/Departments run by the State Government."
The so called society is not a party petitioner in this petition. The petitioner also does not place reliance upon any resolution or decision of that society empowering and authorising the petitioner to institute these proceedings. Additionally the Court finds no locus in the petitioner since it would always be open to an aggrieved Community Health volunteer to institute independent proceedings.
The petition is dismissed.
