This is an application filed by the Travancore Devaswom Board seeking permission to approve the auction conducted for conduct of Kuttivedi vazhipad in Chettikulangara Devaswom in Mavelikara Group. It is seen from the affidavit that only one person attended auction who alone has LE 3 licence. We have perused the annexures produced along with the application. It is seen from Annexure V that the Board negotiated with the Contractor and ordered that the right to conduct Kuttivedi Vazhipad will be settled in favour of the sole applicant for ` 14 lakhs. She has already started the conduct of Kuttivedi vazhipad in the temple. It is also seen that she has remitted the amount with the Board.
In the light of the above, we approve the arrangement and the D.B.A. is accordingly disposed of.
