THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ADMISSION THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER Though this petition is listed for admission with the consent of learned counsel for both the parties the same is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner is before this Court seeking transfer of M.C. No.144/2017 pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bellary to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru.
3. Both the counsels have submitted that the matter between both the parties is settled before the Bengaluru Mediation Centre. Thus it is necessary to pass a divorce decree in M.C. No.144/2017 pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bellary. The respondent husband is working in Germany and both the parties are residents of Bengaluru. As such, it would be convenient for them to attend the Court proceedings before the Family Court at Bengaluru. Hence the petition may be transferred to the Family Court at Bengaluru.
4. Considering the submissions of the counsel and the grounds stated in the petition, the civil petition is allowed. M.C. No.144/2017 pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Bellary, is ordered to be transferred to the Family Court, at Bengaluru.
5. The registry is directed to issue intimation to the Principal Judge, Family Court at Bellary for the purpose of transmission of records.
