THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER The petitioner herein is seeking writ of mandamus to direct respondents-2 and 3 to consider his application filed in Form No.53 for regularisation of alleged unauthorized cultivation of the land bearing Sy.No.16 measuring to an extent of 04 acres of Kannavalli, Chikkamagaluru Taluk and District vide Annexures-A and B.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and as well as the contesting respondents.
3. Respondents-2 and 3 are hereby directed to ascertain whether an application is filed by the petitioner as contended by him and if the said application is filed, ascertain whether the same is in conformity with the requirements and if the said application is in order, place it before the 2nd respondent-Land Grant Committee and the same shall be disposed of by the said Committee in accordance with law at the earliest.
With aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
