THESE WRIT PETITIONS COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Petitioners 1 and 2 are said to be the grantees of 3 Acres each in Sy.No.32, Blocks 1 and 2 of Bhaktarahalli village, Shidlaghatta taluk, Chickballapura district. Though the grant was of the year 1987 and 1988, the ‘Khata’ is yet to be considered in their name. It is stated that application is filed by them in the year 1996 seeking change of ‘Khata’ into their name to the 2nd Respondent.
2. In this matter, the objections are not filed.
Learned AGA for the Respondent-State is not in a position to state as to why the applications of the year 1996 is not considered by the authorities concerned till now.
3. In this view of the matter, this Court is of the opinion that this is a fit case to consider the prayer of the petitioners.
4. Accordingly, the writ petitions are allowed with a direction to the 2nd Respondent to consider the application of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
No costs.
Learned AGA to file Memo of Appearance within two weeks from today.
