THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER The petitioner herein is seeking writ of mandamus to direct respondent No.1-Committee to consider his application filed in Form No.50 for regularisation of alleged unauthorized cultivation of land bearing Sy.No.6, measuring to an extent of 2 acres situated at Betinagere villge, Bidadi Hobli, Ramnagar Taluk and District, vide Annexure-A.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents.
3. On perusal of the application, it does not bear any date. The respondent No.2 to verify the Register of receipt of application filed by the petitioner in Form No.50 seeking regularisation of alleged unauthorized cultivation; if the said application of the petitioner is filed within the period of limitation; and the application of petitioner finds a place in the said register; the same shall be placed before respondent No.1-Committee for Regularisation of Unauthorized Occupation. Thereafter, appropriate decision shall be taken on the said application at the earliest.
With aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
Learned Additional Government Advocate is permitted to file memo of appearance within two weeks.
