THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER Shri Ganapathi S.Shastri, learned advocate for the petitioner submitted that petitioner was cultivating land belonging to respondent No.2 as tenant. Petitioner had filed an application for grant of occupancy right under Land Reforms Act, 1961. Land Tribunal, Kunigal, dismissed the said application. Upon challenge, the Land Reforms Appellate Authority held petitioner as a tenant and ordered to grant occupancy rights. Respondent No.2 challenged Appellate Authority’s order in CRP.No.5412/1991 before this Court. By order dated 10.08.1992, this Court set-aside Appellate Authority’s order and remitted the matter to the Land Tribunal for fresh enquiry and disposal in accordance with law.
2. Grievance of the petitioner is that as on date, the Land Tribunal has not disposed of his application after the remand.
3. Learned AGA submitted that respondent No.1 shall dispose of INA.No.1/2007-08 as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within an outer limit of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Her submission is placed on record.
Ordered accordingly. Petition disposed of. No costs.
