This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to quash the letter dated 24.12.2016 passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Yadagiri – respondent No.6 (Annexure-C) and etc.
This petition coming on for preliminary hearing this day, the Chief Justice made the following:
ORDER Issue notice to the respondents.
Mr.V.G.Bhanuprakash, learned additional government advocate, accepts notice for the respondents. Therefore, formal service of notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
2. The writ petitioner is aggrieved as his application dated December 26, 2014, for grant of mining lease was not considered for a long period. He is, further, aggrieved as an endorsement has been issued on December 24, 2016, by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Yadagiri, refusing to issue further no objection, when, already, no objection has been issued.
3. We direct the Deputy Commissioner, Yadagiri, to summon a meeting of the District Task Force Committee, to consider the application of the writ petitioner within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.
Within a period of one month, all the authorities must forward their opinions to the Deputy Commissioner.
4. The writ petition stands disposed of.
5. We make no order as to costs.
