THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER In this petition, petitioner inter alia seeks for a mandamus or prohibition commanding the 1st respondent to refrain from taking any adverse action against the petitioner, under and in pursuance of the aforementioned impugned communication dated 14.01.2016 and 18.01.2016 vide Annexures-L and N to issue a writ in the nature of a mandamus directing the 1st respondent to objectively and dispassionately consider the representations dated 18.01.2016 and 03.09.2015 vide Annexures-P and S without brooking any further delay in the matter.
2. On perusal of the record, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the competent authority to consider and decide the representations submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law, if not already decided, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. Ordered accordingly.
3. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
With the aforesaid direction, the petition is disposed of.
