THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R The petitioner has assailed the order dated 16.11.2018 passed by the respondent No.3 on the ground that the report of the Village Accountant and the order of the Revenue Inspector are inconsistent with the orders of the Assistant Commissioner and the Special Deputy Commissioner and the same are passed without jurisdiction much beyond the power vested in them.
2. Today, the learned AGA appearing for the respondents has filed a memo along with the copy of the letter dated 21.1.2019 of the Special Tahsildar, Bangalore South Taluk, Bangalore. The memo reads thus:
“The Addl. Government Advocate appearing for the State submits that the Special Tahsildar, Bangalore in his letter dated 21.01.2019 has instructed me to make a submission that he would enter the khatha in the name of the petitioner to the extent of 1 acre 08 guntas of Sy.No.47, Kanaminike village and take over the possession of 0.20 guntas of ‘B’ kharab land within 4 weeks from today.
The copy of the letter dated 21.1.2019 is placed for ready reference and to meet the ends of justice.”
3. In view of the aforesaid, interest of justice would be sub-served in disposing of the writ petition directing the respondent No.2, the Special Tahsildar to comply with the direction issued by the Asst. Commissioner and the Special Dy. Commissioner as per Annexures-D and E respectively in an expedite manner, not later than six * weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order.
Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
