O R D E R H.G.RAMESH, J. (Oral):
1. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner has filed a memo dated 30.01.2017 in Court today; it reads as follows:
“In view of the petitioner having filed a separate writ petition in W.P.Nos.51313-51315/2016 invoking interalia, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, in which the proceedings initiated against him in pursuance of the First Information Report bearing No. Nil in Crime No.4/2016, dated 16.9.2016 has been assailed, he hereby respectfully craves the kind leave of this Hon’ble Court to withdraw the aforementioned writ petition No.46904/2016 (GM-KLA), as not pressed, in the interest of justice and equity.
It is submitted accordingly.”
2. Sri H.Subramanya Jois, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in view of the aforesaid memo, the writ petition may be disposed of as not pressed. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of as not pressed.
