THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER In the instant petition, petitioner has sought for quashing of the endorsement at Annexure-‘E’ dated 27.03.2018 and Annexure-‘H’ dated 10.05.2018, by which petitioner’s grievance relating to compassionate appointment have been rejected on the ground that petitioner’s mother was working as Senior Division Engineer in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (Government of India).
2. The object of providing compassionate appointment is to meet the immediate harness in the family. As it is evident from the record that petitioner’s family survived from 22.02.2009 till filing of writ petition. Merely petitioner’s mother got retired, petitioner has no right to seek for compassionate appointment after lapse of nearly 9 years. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
