Honappa, HCGP) This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. praying to enlarge the petitioner on bail in the event of his arrest in Cr.No.257/2018 (Spl.C.No.52/2019) of Maddur P.S., Mandya District, for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 353, 504, 506 of IPC and Section 3(1)(r)(S) of SC/ST(POA) Act.
This Criminal Petition coming on for Orders this day, the Court made the following:
O R D E R Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned HCGP for the respondent-State. Perused the records.
2. After arguing for some time, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition reserving liberty to approach the trial Court for grant of regular bail after surrendering himself before the trial Court.
3. Submission is placed on record. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with such liberty as prayed.
In the event of petitioner filing any such bail petition, the trial Court is hereby directed to dispose of the said petition as expeditiously as possible without any unnecessary delay.
