2. In these petitions, the petitioners inter alia seek for a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 18.09.2018 vide Annexures-E and E3 and allot the vacant house (flats) in their name in terms of the directions of respondent No.1 letters dated 03.09.2015, 05.10.2015, 26.10.2016 and 28.08.2018 vide Annexures-A to D.
3. When the matters were taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the writ petitions be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation submitted by them by a speaking order.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission, writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 18.09.2018 submitted by the petitioners by a speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case of the petitioners.
Accordingly, the writ petitions are disposed of.
