THIS CONTEMPT PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, RAVI MALIMATH J., PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER This contempt petition is filed on the ground that the order dated 06.02.2019 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.21315 of 2016 has been disobeyed. In terms whereof, the respondent therein was directed to consider the representation of the petitioner within two months. Since, the same was not done, the instant petition is filed.
2. A compliance affidavit is filed by the accused in the Court today. He has tendered his unconditional apology for the delay in complying with the order of learned Single Judge within the time frame. He has also produced Annexure-R1 which indicates consideration of the representation of the petitioner. For the reasons assigned, the delay in compliance is condoned.
3. In view of compliance of order of the learned Single Judge vide Annexure-R1, the proceedings are dropped.
