Siddamallappa, Advocate for R-2) This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to quash the FIR as against the petitioner in Crime No.387/2013 registered by the respondent No.1 i.e., Rural Police Shivamogga for an offence punishable under Section 304A of IPC on the file of the II-JMFC, Shivamogga.
This Criminal Petition coming on for Admission, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER Parties are present before this Court. They have filed a joint memo of settlement dated 14.10.2019. The same is taken on record.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the co-accused of the petitioner had filed Criminal Petition No.2601/2014, wherein also, the parties therein have entered into settlement and the said petition was disposed of on 24.04.2019 in terms thereof.
In view of the joint memo, the present petition stands allowed by quashing FIR in Crime No.387/2013 registered by Rural Police, Shivamogga insofar as petitioner is concerned for the offence punishable under Section 304-A of Indian Penal Code on the file of JMFC- Court-2, Shivamogga.
