Rajshekar, Advocate) This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of Constitution of India, praying to quash the order of retirement on the grounds of medical unfitness dtd:15.7.2017 passed by the Group Commandant, CISF GP Head Quarters, Cochin as per Annexure-G, direct the R-2 to reinstate the petitioner on his duty from the date of passing of Annexure-G order and etc.
This Writ Petition coming on for ‘Orders’ this day, the court passed the following:-
ORDER The petitioner has filed a memo dated 19.01.2019, stating that the petitioner has opted to retire on medical grounds. Under these circumstances, the petitioner submits that the petition does not survive for consideration.

Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
