THIS CCC COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, RAVI MALIMATH J., PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER This contempt petition has been filed on the ground that the order dated 20.11.2018 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No.47091 of 2018 has been disobeyed. In terms of the said order, respondent No.2 therein was directed to consider the application made by the petitioner within 90 days from the said date. Since, the same was not done, the instant petition is filed.
2. A counter affidavit is filed by the accused. He has tendered his unconditional apology for the delay in complying with the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court within the time frame. The reasons are accepted, the delay is condoned. He has also produced Annexure-R1 dated 12.07.2019 which indicates consideration of the representation made by the petitioner.
3. In view of the same, we do not find any ground to proceed further. The proceedings are dropped.
