THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, PRAYING TO DIRECT THE RESPONDENT TO CONSIDER THE REPRESENTATION OF THE PETITIONER DTD.28.9.2016 VIDE ANNX-J AND DIRECT THE RESPONDENT TO LEASE THE LAND IN FAVOUR OF THE PETITIONER, AND ETC., THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Smt.Shanthi Bhushan H., learned counsel for the petitioner.
Mr.Y.D.Harsha, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent.
2. The writ petition is admitted for hearing.
With consent of the parties, the same is heard finally.
3. In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:
(a) Issue a writ of mandamus order or direction directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.09.2016 vide Annexure-J and direct the respondent to lease the land in favour of the petitioner.
(b) Issue such other appropriate writ or direction in the circumstances of the case.
(c) To pass any other order as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit to grant under the circumstances of the case to meet the ends of justice.
4. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition be disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.09.2016 contained in Annexure- J.
5. In view of the submissions made and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today. Ad-interim order granted by a Bench of this Court dated 04.10.2016 shall continue.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
