THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER Heard.
2. This petition is filed seeking for a direction to respondent No.3 to extend the period for registering the lease deed dated 19.03.2016 (Annexure-A).
3. Shri S.Y.Shivalli, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not get the lease deed registered when it was executed. He approached the authorities for getting the lease deed registered. But, his requests were not considered. Hence, it is submitted that the respondent authorities are unjustified in not extending the period of registering the lease deed.
4. On perusal of the records, it is clear that before filing this writ petition, the petitioner does not appear to have made a representation to the concerned authorities to consider his request to register the lease deed.
5. In that view of the matter, this writ petition stands disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make a representation within four weeks from today. If such representation is made, the same shall be considered by respondent No.3 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of representation.
No costs.
