ORDER:
This writ petition is filed with the grievance that the respondents have been unduly interfering with the petitioner’s running of the rice mill.
When the writ petition came up in the pre lunch session, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue (AA) and Sri G.Raju, learned counsel, representing Sri G.Elisha, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.5, requested for a pass over. In the post lunch session, the learned Assistant Government Pleader submitted that none of the revenue functionaries, including respondent No.4, is interfering with the petitioner’s running of the rice mill. Sri G.Raju, learned counsel, however, submitted that on the complaint made by some of the villagers that the rice mill of the petitioner is causing pollution, the Divisional Panchayat Officer and the Panchayat Secretary have visited the petitioner’s rice mill today and recorded certain violations being committed by the petitioner. He further submitted that as of now, no interference is caused by respondent No.5.
In the light of the above noted submissions, no further adjudication of the writ petition is needed. However, if in future the respondents seek to interfere with the running of the rice mill by the petitioner, they shall not do so unless they initiate appropriate proceedings in law.
Subject to the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.1675 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
