In terms whereof, the respondents were directed to issue transport permits to the petitioners therein on payment of royalties. Since, the same was not done, the instant petitions are filed.
2. A counter affidavit is filed by accused No.1. He has stated that transport permits could be issued only upon payment of royalties. In terms of Annexure-R2, namely a communication by one of the petitioners, the same would indicate that payments were made on 31.07.2019. Consequently, permits have been issued on 03.08.2019.
3. In view of the same, we find no good ground to proceeding further. The proceedings are dropped.
