JUDGMENT / ORDER

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.15208 of 2006 Between:
Sri Ravinder Kumar PETITIONER AND
1. Union of India, rep. by its Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, and others.
RESPONDENTS ORDER:
This writ petition is filed seeking the following relief.
“….to issue a Writ or order or direction more preferably in the nature of Writ of Mandamus by declaring the action of 6th respondent in investigating into the Crime No.837/2004 as illegal and void and consequently direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to investigate the allegations levelled in Crime No.837/2004 of Saifabad P.S. and file the report….”
2. Heard Sri B. Narayana Reddy, learned Assistant Solicitor General for the 1st respondent, Sri P. Kesava Rao, learned counsel for respondents 2 and 3 and learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents 4 to 6 and perused the material available on record.
3. When the matter is taken up, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the police authorities have already filed the final report in Crime No.837 of 2004 on the file of the Saifabad Police Station, and the learned counsel requests this Court to permit the petitioner to pursue the remedies available to him under the Code of Criminal Procedure.
3. For the aforesaid reasons, this writ petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to pursue the remedies available to him under the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any shall stand closed.
