It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents that in view of the pendency of the writ petition the elections are not being held and the authorities are not in a position to hold elections.
Above submission of the learned counsel is placed on record and accordingly the writ petition is closed. However, it is made clear that it is open for the authorities to hold elections in accordance with law. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, stand closed. No costs.
