ORDER The report has been sent by the Bengaluru Mediation Centre enclosing a memorandum of settlement under section 89 of CPC read with Rule 24 & 25 of the Karnataka Civil Procedure (Mediation) Rules, 2005.
2. The parties have arrived at a settlement on various terms and conditions. They were present before the Mediation Centre when the settlement was effected. It is also narrated therein that in terms of the order of this Court, the respondent Bank has deposited a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- before the Registry of this Court. The said amount has been earning the prevailing interest. One of the terms of the settlement is that the said amount of Rs.7,00,000/- with interest shall be paid to the respondent bank. Therefore, the amount in-deposit with this Court in a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- along with interest be returned to the respondent Bank.
The settlement is accepted.
The Writ Petitions are disposed off in terms of the memorandum of settlement.
