THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Sri K. Chandranath Ariga, learned counsel for the petitioner. Sri V. Shivareddy, learned High Court Government Pleader for respondents No.1 and 2.
2. The writ petition is admitted for hearing.
With the consent of the parties, the matter is heard finally.
3. In this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner inter alia seeks a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Mangalore to consider and dispose of the case pending before it expeditiously.
4. When the matter was taken up for consideration today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to consider and dispose of the case bearing No.DVS.LAW.CR:10/2015- 16/158096/F1 expeditiously.
5. On the other hand, learned High Court Government Pleader for respondents No.1 and 2 submits that suitable action in accordance with law will be taken to dispose of the case pending before respondent No.1 6. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the matter pending before it expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties by a speaking order in accordance with law.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
