THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri.Kumara.K.G, learned counsel for the petitioner. Smt.Sumangala I.Simimath for Sri.G.I. Gachchinamath, learned counsel for the respondent Nos.1 and 2.
2. The petition is admitted for hearing. With consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the same is heard finally.
3. In this petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner inter alia seeks a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to consider the representation dated 20.07.2016 and legal notice dated 22.10.2016 submitted by the petitioner to Respondent No.1.
4. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petition be disposed of with a direction to the Respondent No.1 to consider and decide the representation and legal notice submitted by the petitioner.
5. On the other hand, learned counsel for respondents submitted that suitable action on the representation and legal notice submitted by the petitioner shall be taken in accordance with law.
6. In view of the submissions, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to Respondent No.1 to pass an order on the representation dated 20.07.2016 and legal notice dated 22.10.2016 by a speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
Till the representations submitted by the petitioner are decided, ad-interim order granted by this Court on 27.02.2017 shall continue.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
