JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to quash the impugned order dated 05.02.2016, passed by the first respondent. The petitioner also sought for a direction to the first respondent to open the price bid of the petitioner and appoint the petitioner as Handling and Transport Contractor for Kovilpatti Warehouse for a period of 2 years from the date of award, if the petitioner's bid is the lowest bid.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that this writ petition has become infructuous, as nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.
3. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
