THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri.Dwarakanath.H.S, learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. In this petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner inter alia seeks a direction to the Family Court to dispose of the case pending before it in a time-bound manner in view of the provisions contained in Karnataka (Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts) Rules, 2005.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the evidence of the petitioner has been recorded.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission and taking into account the fact that the petition is pending since 2014 and the Rules framed by this Court namely, Karnataka (Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts) Rules, 2005, wherein it is provided that the matrimonial dispute should be decided within a period of one year, the Family Court, Bengaluru is directed to decide the petition filed by the petitioner in a time- bound manner, preferably within four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
Accordingly, the Petition is disposed of.
