Respondents (By Sri.H.M.Muralidhar, Advocate) This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to release the amount of Rs.1,07,000/- held up by them as per Annexure-F & etc., This writ petition, coming on for preliminary hearing in ‘B’ group this day, the Court, made the following:
ORDER The petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation vide Annexure-J dated 21.10.2014 for release of Rs.1,07,330/- in terms of the order passed by the Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies, dated 17.10.2014 vide Anneuxre-H.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after service of notice from this Court, now, they have released the amount but they have not paid any interest for that.
3. The only relief sought for in this petition is payment of Rs.1,07,330/-. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition does not survive for consideration. Accordingly, it is dismissed as having become infructuous.
However, if the petitioner has any grievance regarding non-payment of interest, it is for the petitioner to approach the first respondent.
