While entertaining the writ petition, following orders were passed in the matter on 13.8.2018:-
"Petitioner's application for grant of compassionate appointment appears to have been engaging attention of the authorities; in as much as, various correspondence has been brought on record, as per which, petitioner's educational certificates were being got verified by the authorities. Grievance is that still petitioner's claim has not been considered for grant of compassionate appointment.
Learned standing counsel may obtain instructions in the matter. Put up this matter, in the additional cause list, on 21.08.2018."
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions, according to which a letter has been sent to petitioner on 6th March, 2018, requiring him to submit affidavit of all eligible persons of the family conveying their no objection regarding grant of compassionate appointment to the petitioner. Copy of the letter dated 6th March, 2018 has been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner today in Court.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that such affidavits have already been furnished.
Be that as it may, in the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to furnish copy of the affidavits to the Superintendent of Police, Azamgarh, in response to his letter dated 6th March, 2018 together with certified copy of this order, within a period of two weeks from today. In case such affidavits are furnished before the authority concerned, he shall ensure that petitioner's claim is considered by the competent authority, in accordance with law, within a further period of four months, thereafter.
