THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Petitioner is before this Court seeking issue of mandamus to direct the respondent to decide and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner as at Annexure-C to the petition.
2. In a matter of present nature where the time frame has been set under the statutory provisions for disposal of the matters, I do not find it necessary to direct notice to the respondent before disposal of this petition. In that light, having taken note that the petitioner has filed the appeal as at Annexure-C to the petition on 17-05-2017, it is seen that the time as has been allowed under the provisions of the Act has already expired. Therefore, the petitioner is granted liberty of filing a memo before the respondent along with a copy of this order. If such a memo is filed by the petitioner, the respondent shall keep in view the time frame and dispose of the appeal forthwith, in accordance with law.
3. The petition is disposed of accordingly.
