THIS CCC COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, RAVI MALIMATH J., PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER This contempt petition has been filed on the ground that the order dated 03.01.2019 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.52599 of 2018 has been disobeyed. In terms of the said order, the respondent-Bengaluru Development Authority was directed to consider the representation of the petitioner within a period of three months. Since the same was not complied within the time frame, the instant petition is filed.
2. The Commissioner, Bengaluru Development Authority has filed the affidavit in the Court today. She has tendered her unconditional apology for the delay in complying with the order of the learned Single Judge within the time frame. The reasons are accepted, the delay is condoned. The documents vide Annexures-R1 to R5 have been filed. Annexure-R1 is the endorsement dated 15.02.2019 which indicates consideration of the representation of the petitioner.
Therefore, we do not find any ground to proceed further in the matter. The proceeding is dropped.
