O R D E R Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondent.
2. The petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondent authority, Deputy Transport Commissioner and Secretary, RTA, Tumkur to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 07.09.2019 at Annexure-B to the writ petition.
3. It is submitted that the petitioner had filed an application dated 08.04.2005 for the grant of fresh stage carriage permit on the route Tumkur to Thirumaladevarahalli and back one round trip via the places mentioned therein. The RTA Tumkur considering the application in the proceedings of Subject No.38/05-06 has granted the permit and directed the Secretary, RTA Tumkur to fix timings to the grants. However, the respondent has not assigned the timings despite several requests/representations made. Hence, the writ petition.
4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent authority is directed to consider the representation dated 07.09.2019 and take a decision in the matter in accordance with law in an expedite manner in any event not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
Writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the above.
