This petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents to implement the award of Industrial Tribunal, Agra, passed in Adjudication Case No.23 of 2010, since a writ petition filed against it has been dismissed.
Award has been passed by the Industrial Tribunal under the provisions of U.P. Industrial Disputes Act, 1947. The Act of 1947 is a self-contained code which also contains provisions for execution of award. Writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is not the appropriate remedy for the purpose.
While leaving it open for the petitioner to approach the competent forum by filing appropriate application, which shall be dealt with in accordance with law, expeditiously, this petition is consigned to records.
