RESPONDENTS ORDER:
This writ petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, assails the action of the respondents in discharging the sullage and drainage water across the vacant residential site, an extent of Ac.0.18 cents in D.No.292/A shown in A, B, C, D, in the plan appended to, belonging to the petitioner.
2. When the matter is called today, a letter dated 15.11.2014 addressed by the Panchayat Secretary, Ravipadu Village, Narasaraopet Mandal, Guntur District to the learned Standing Counsel is placed on record. As per the said letter, the petitioner built a compound wall to his site and constructed a house inside the compound wall, and sullage and drainage water is not passing across his site, and there is no inconvenience to him, and that the Gram Panchayat did total precautionary steps to pass the drainage water through drainage canal.
3. In view of the above development, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication. Accordingly the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, stands closed.
