THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ORDERS THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:-
ORDER Sri. Somashekharaiah R.P., learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri. Vijay Kumar A.Patil, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 to 6.
Petition is admitted for hearing. With the consent of the parties, it is heard finally.
2. In this petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner contained in Annexures-‘G1’ to ‘G6’ for providing Gunman protection to the petitioner and his family members.
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that Gunman protection to the petitioner was assessed and decision in this regard has taken. However, the same shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of one month from today.
4. It is needless to state that as and when the decision is communicated to the petitioner and if the petitioner is aggrieved by the aforesaid decision, he is at liberty to recourse to such remedy as available under the law.
With the aforesaid liberty, the petition stands disposed of.
In view of disposal of the main petition, I.A.No.1/2018 does not survive for consideration. Hence, it is disposed of.
