THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER A frivolous writ petition is filed by the petitioner challenging order passed by the Public Information Officer dated 07.05.2019, as per Annexure-E and the Order passed by the Appellate Authority dated 30.05.2019 vide Annexure-H.
2. The petitioner is seeking for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to consider the application dated 22.04.2019 filed under Right to Information Act, 2005, vide Annexure-A and provide the documents sought in the application, which is negated by the authorities as per Annexures-E and H. Instead of challenging the said orders, the petitioner has approached this Court for the relief sought for, which is nothing but abuse of process of the Court.
2. In view of the above, though this Court inclined to dismiss the writ petition with heavy costs, at this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner filed Memo seeking to withdraw the writ petition.
3. The memo is placed on record.
4. The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with a warning to the petitioner not to repeat such mistakes in future.
