THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR ADMISSION THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Perused the records. Though the petitioner has sought for quashing of the entire proceedings in C.C.No.13875/2009 on the file of the IX Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Bengaluru, but at present he is confining his prayer only to prayer(c) i.e. to direct the learned Magistrate to dispose of the case as early as possible, by fixing the time limit.
2. As could be seen from the entire order sheet, the matter has already been heard and the written arguments have been filed by the learned counsel for the accused, but the judgment appears to have not been passed. In the meantime, the Presiding Officer was transferred.
3. In view of the above said circumstances and considering that the case is pending since 2009, it is just and necessary to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, not beyond two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
